Sensory processing disorder (SPD) presents challenges for individuals of all ages. In essence, SPD relates to how the brain perceives sensory stimuli from the surroundings. This results in individuals with SPD may feel sensations differently than others. Many common symptoms of SPD include: Heightened sensitivity to sounds, lights, textures,
